Tunnel Laerdal - Norway.
The first time I went through the tunnel for these vehicles in 2002 that then when I travel from Bergen to Laerdal / Gudvangen. It is said that this tunnel is a tunnel for motor vehicles, the longest in the world.
Its length reaches 24 km through the mountains and it takes nearly 3 years to make. Was opened in 1999. The uniqueness of this tunnel is the atmosphere in it. The wall left wall looks like natural stone and rough stones were light-colored every 6 km. This is intended to allow the driver does not get bored if the drive inside. At every mouth of the tunnel was given a giant fan with a diameter of 3 meters is useful for air flow inside the tunnel. Kebayangkan it if smoke in motor vehicles through in it does not get out ...
Tunnel St. Gothard - Switzerland
When no Laerdal tunnel, this tunnel is the longest in the world that is 20 km. If we drive from Lucerne to Milan or otherwise we are going through this tunnel. Inside look bright. reportedly had a great accident occurred which resulted in them a lot of people died because of stuck in the middle.
Tunnel Pisa - Monaco / Nice Have you made the trip from Pisa to Monaco or vice versa with a car / motorcycle? If not please try and count how many tunnels we've been through.
This route often I go through and I always make a game with the participants on a bus tour with the counting of the tunnel we've been through. With rata2 100Km/jam speed, starting from 11:30 o'clock until ten + / - 5 pm, do not count out our end of the tunnel that passed. Indeed I have never counted the exact figure but there are at least 170 pieces of the tunnel through which a length ranging from 36 meters to the nearly 2 km. Truly remarkable Italy and France through the mountains so that motor vehicles need not repot2 winding uphill and winding road ....
Millau (read: Miyau) Bridges - France
Previously, I want to thank to Ms. Julia G in Marseilles who would repot2 reply to my email about the route to pass through this bridge. This bridge has just inaugurated by President Chirac at the beginning of J in 2005. Its length is 2.5 km across the valley Tran. This unique bridge, on one segment has a height of more than 320 meters from the bottom of the valley! that means higher than the Eiffel tower ...
After + / - 1 hour in the national road curving meanders from Albi to Nevers, was reached after a corner 1 fruit, stretched with a magnificent bridge in front of me. Just below this bridge is a stop for tourists equipped with a small museum, information about this bridge construction along with playback of movies and do not miss the boutique & toilet. It is sold in the boutique tshirt, posters, postcards and other associated with this bridge. Actually I wanted to pass on it (he said like driving on clouds) but I can only touch pass underneath route I did. But it was enough to satisfy my curiosity since I first saw this bridge in the news on tv.
